How to Restore the Add/Remove Software Application in Ubuntu 9.10

The release of Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) saw the introduction of the Ubuntu Software Center. This application is now the primary application used to install new software and remove existing programs already installed in Ubuntu. Ubuntu Software Center replaces the previous application that served this function called Add/Remove Applications. Restoring Add/Remove Applications is easy enough using the Ubuntu Software Center.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Select "Applications," "Ubuntu Software Center."

  3. Step 3

    Install "Add/Remove Applications."

  4. Step 4

Access "Add/Remove Applications" from the "System," "Administration" menu.
