How to Install Linux on a Another Linux Computer

Virtualization software allows you to install another operating system (the guest) over an existing operating system (the host). The guest operating system runs as if it is installed on its own hardware. This allows you to install two instances of the Linux operating system on the same computer with both running at the same time. Sun Microsystem's VirtualBox and VMWare Server are virtualization products that are available to download for free.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • VirtualBox or VMware server
