How to Uninstall Avira Antivirus

"Avira AntiVir" is a line of antivirus and anti-spyware products. Avira software can be uninstalled using Windows. You might need to use a cleaning utility after the removal to find and delete any remaining traces.

Instructions

1. Step 1

   From the Start menu, click "Control Panel."

2. Step 2

   Double-click "Add/Remove Programs" (click "Uninstall a program" in Windows Vista and 7), and click "Avira Antivir."

3. Step 3

   Click "Remove" ("Uninstall" in Windows Vista and 7) and follow the prompts to uninstall the application.

4. Step 4

   Restart your computer.
